Live 105 BFD 2013

The BFD 2013 lineup has been announced and I must say that Aaron Axelsen and Live 105 have really put together an amazing lineup. The show will be Sunday May 19th and Thirty Seconds to Mars will headline the main stage. Plus, there will be a special performance by a secret guest that will be announced the day of the show. The Bud Light Festival Stage features Jimmy Eat World and the Airborne Toxic Event amore great bands. The always electric Subsonic Tent will feature headliners Dilplo along with The Crystal Method and DJ Shadow just to name a few.

This year we are extremely excited for the Pepsi Soundcheck Local Band Stage. Aaron Axelsen always brings out the best talent the Bay Area has to offer and this year I must say is the most “INSANE” lineup of bands that he has put together for the Soundcheck Stage. It’s going to be real difficult to peel yourself away from this stage as it will features the likes of Doe Eye, Tumbleweed Wanderers, Rin Tin Tiger, Picture Atlantic, and more…

VIDEO: Milton Zeis “Tattooing As You Like It” Book Promo

A biography and tribute to one of tattooing’s most legendary figures. This book follows Zeis’s life from birth, documenting his many interests as well as his formidable ventures in tattooing. This book documents the life and work of this influential man, from the young days train-hopping to his adult years running The Zeis Studio and performing as Uncle Milty the clown. It also includes 95 of today’s best tattooers paying homage to Zeis by repainting some of the most iconic flash sheets distributed by The Zeis studio from the 1920’s to the 1970’s.

Cukui Presents – Low Life Art Show

The Lowrider culture will be on display this Friday through the captivating images of photographer Trevor Traynor’s exhibition, Low Life, premiering at the Cukui clothing store in San Jose, the first stop in a four-city tour on both coasts. Many Lowrider Clubs will be in attendance thus parts of Jackson Street will be blocked off so attendees can check out the rides that will be lined up outside the shop. John Coyne will also be providing motion visuals.

Video: Body Art Expo in San Francisco

The Body Art Expo was held this past weekend at the Cow Palace in San Francisco and once again it was a great event. Headlined by Master Sponsor and tattoo legend Baba Austin of Vintage Tattoo Art Parlor the list of participating included the likes of: Shaun Kama, Mark Dupp, Freddy Negrete, Tennessee Dave, Barnaby, Ruthless, the crews from Untouchable and City of Ink and many many more…If you ever get a chance to hit one up please do so as all the artists are amazing. Here’s a little video put together of the San Francisco show. Sorry the pics are a little grainy as I was using a new camera and trying out new settings.
