It’s exciting to see what the future holds for A Me B, but for now check out our interview with the Joey Voodoo Music Artist of the Week.

Joey: Hello A Me Be! Thanks so much for hanging out with us.

A Me B: Hey! No problem thanks for getting in contact :)

Joey: As a female musician what other female musicians have inspired you? and is there anything in particular you try to learn from them?

A Me B: Other females that have inspired me are the likes of Jessie J, Missy Elliot and Madonna. I don’t really try to learn from them but I love how they are all confident in their own abilities and still remain grounded too.

Joey: You started writing and producing your music at a young age. Does music run in your family? Where do you find your inspiration for your music?

A Me B: I did start at a young age yes but music doesn’t really run in the family that I know of, however my dad is great at writing lyrics. I get most of my inspriation through experiences, personal thoughts, people, observing different situations and just life in general.

Joey: Your music is being so well received and you’ve played at some amazing venues. Is all this progression happening as you expected?

A Me B: To be honest even though it feels like I have been doing it for ages, I only starting taking my music seriously and started gigging for under 3 years which is pretty short in comparison to others. So in that respect, I didn’t expect so much progression so soon or to have achieved some of the things I have in such a short space of time.

Joey: What three words best describes your music?

A Me B: Honest, Fresh & Eclectic

Joey: What else can your fans expect this year from you?

A Me B: The fans can expect to have another free mixtape with a video taken from it out every single month throughout the whole of the year. I will also be releasing more singles and gigging both locally and further a feild this year.

Joey: What venue (anywhere in the world) would be your Dream Venue to perform at?

A Me B: Wembly, Glastonbury or Headlining M.E.N in Manchester.

Joey: Who’s your celebrity crush?

A Me B: Ohhhhh haha! Erm, I quite like Amir Khan, especially after interviewing him in person.

Joey: Tell us about an embarrassing moment you had?

A Me B: Probably forgetting my own lyrics on stage haha!

Joey: A Me B!! Thanks so much again for your time. Totally excited to see what the futue holds for you. Any final words or shout outs?

A Me B: No problem. I would just like to say a big thank you to every one who has been supporting me so far it is really appreciate and expect to hear a lot more from me this year!
